Downtown Fort Collins is filled with arts and creative businesses, artists and fun activities! Downtown Fort Collins Art Week, May 1 – 9, 2026, is back to showcase the Choice City’s lively arts and culture scene.  From experiencing vibrant, year-round public art, to enjoying collectible and shareable art, uncovering hidden art, and experiencing artistic expression in its various forms, Downtown is bursting with creativity! During Art Week people can explore Downtown art galleries, see live music shows and theatre, join on art tours and so much more!

Art Week 2026 is being presented by the Fort Collins Mural Project in collaborations with lots of collaborative partners to showcase and celebrate Fort Collins artists, arts businesses and art assets! Art Week’s partners include: Downtown Fort Collins Creative District, Petrichor Collective, Visit Fort Collins, Museum of Art | Fort Collins, Art in Public Places and Poudre Libraries.

As we move into the 5th year of the event it is continuing to grow with more ways to get involved and new opportunities to evolve each year. The foundation built by the Downtown Development Authority (DDA) and the event partners is now being carried forward by the Fort Collins Mural Project, with the DDA still supporting through sponsorship and cross-promotion to help celebrate our local arts culture.

The Downtown Creative District and many of the folks who helped shape Downtown Fort Collins Art Week from the beginning are still involved, and excitement is building around bringing an even bigger, more connected Art Week to Fort Collins.
